ReDBox 1.9 Release Plan
Introduction
The next release of ReDBox (v 1.9) is being planned in consultation with the ReDBox user community and will incorporate as many of the feature requests as possible prioritised by the responses from the 1.9 Release Survey. This page will provide information into each of the feature requests under development as well as track progress.Feature Requirement Documents

Feature Releases
Following the proposed release planning schema (pending approval by the ReDBox User Group), we will aim for a number of feature releases through the year culminating in a final 1.9 release that contains all the features developed through the year.
Note, the release dates below are rough estimates and are likely to change as factors such as the full scope of the requirements are established and resource availability become known.
Release 1.8.1 - RIF-CS 1.6 support - May/June 2016
- An update of the data collection form to capture additional information required for the 1.6 specification.
- Existing RIF-CS templates will be updated to reflect the new schema changes.
- Additionally a new transformer to be implemented using the ANDS RIF-CS Java API
Release 1.8.2 - ORCID support - September 2016
- Use of ORCIDs as identifiers for parties.
Release 1.8.3/1.9 - Proai support - November 2016
- New (optional) plugin that will send metadata out to a Proai instance.
